Welcome to the 8th Edition of Al Salam Tournament! We are delighted to host everyone again in this unrivaled Cycling Championship under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The second race of the season will be the Desert Race. Just like previous years, be prepared for one of the toughest races in the UAE with an extremely challenging course, different types of terrain and some nice elevations! The Race is open for Professional UAE Men, Amateur UAE Men and UAE Residents (Expat) Men. 

• By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

  The venue is open from 10:00am. We advise participants to come early to familiarize themselves with the course, collect their race packs and attend the race brief.

• What are the start time(s) of the event?

  The race starts at13:00h

• Where do I go for the event?

  The location of the event will be Al Qudra Desert, Dubai. The exact details of the start venue will be shared via social media (instagram) with all participants.

• What are my options for parking?

  Parking is available at the venue

• Race Pack / Number collection details?

  Race Pack Collection starts at 10:30h at the race venue

• Are there bag drop facilities?

  No, but you can park your vehicles next to the venue and keep all your belongings inside your vehicle.

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  Yes, water and aid stations will be present along the course.

• What estimated time will the event finish?

  First expected finisher is around 16:00h. Venue remains open till 20:00h

• Where can I find the results to the event?

  Results will be published exclusively by the Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum after the event.
