• What time should I arrive at the venue on Race Day?

  We recommend you arrive AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to the start of your race. This should allow you plenty of time to collect your race number

• Where is the event being held?

  The event start & finish location is at the main entrance to the zoo. Please follow event signs and marshal instructions

• Where can I park?

  There is plenty of parking available at the zoo. Please follow event signs accordingly.

• Where/ how do I collect my race number?

  Race pack collection is close to the start/ finish line. Please have the QR code you received upon registration ready to show the check in team.

• Is there a bag drop facility?

  No there is no bag drop facility. We recommend leaving valuables in your car.

• Will there be water available?

  Yes, there will be several water stations on the course as well as one at the finish line.

• Is there a cut off time for the race?

  Yes the cut off time for ALL distances is 8:30am.

• How is the event timed? / Where do I find my result?

  There will be a timing chip attached to the back of your race number. DO NOT TAMPER WITH IT OR FOLD THE BIB. Your bib must be worn on the front of your running top. It is not permitted to run with someone else's number. Results can be found by scanning the QR code on your race bib. Official results will be the ones read out at the award ceremony.

• What is Gun Time versus Chip Time?

  For this race results are based on CHIP time. This is your individual time when YOU passed over the start and finish mats, so no need to be at the front to record the fastest time! GUN TIME means everyone’s time starts at the first start sound. Due to the width of the running route runners will be set off in waves of 4-5 runners every few seconds
