The Bike Abu Dhabi Gran Fondo is back for another edition!
A challenging 154Km race awaits the participants starting again in the capital city of Abu Dhabi and
going all the way to the Garden City of Al Ain. Participants will be able to compete in overall and age
categories for a total prize pool of AED 2,000,000.
The 2023 edition will see participants start in different speed groups. The first group is dedicated to elite
men, women and elite teams. The remaining participants will be split based on their average speed and
set off accordingly. Participants are free to select from the speed group which best suits their abilities.
*Anti-doping regulations and professional rider restrictions will apply. Riders entering the elite category
will have to present their local or international license to the organizers.


Special Notes:
Elite teams & elite riders
-Riders in the elite category will have to present their local or international license, obtained from their local federation to the organizers in order to be allowed to start in the first wave. The license number will have to be entered as part of the registration process and a license check will be conducted the day prior to the race. If no license is presented participants will be placed in the next speed group
-Professional riders
Athletes who have been registered as Professionals part of a UCI WorldTour team, UCI Women WorldTour team or UCI Proteam, including the two years following their last membership as professional, are admitted to participate exclusively for promotional purposes. Authorization of the sports club to which they belong needs to be shown to the jury.
They will not be able to participate in any way in the ranking or be eligible for prize money.
-Anti-doping
In case of being tested positive during the anti-doping controls carried out at the event, or in case of being tested positive in the 6 (six) months following it, the organization reserves the right to ask for the compensation from the participant Requesting an amount of AED 200,000.00 to cover the damages to the image of the event.
If the participant belongs to a sport association, the latter will be jointly obliged to pay the sanction. The sum of money will be used to promote youth sport practice.

سباق ١٥٤ كيلومترًا مليئًا بالتحديات ينتظر المشاركين ابتداءً من العاصمة أبوظبي و الذهاب إلى غاردن سيتي في العين.
سيتمكن المشاركون من المنافسة بشكل عام وعمري فئات لمجموع جوائز إجمالي قدره ٢،٠٠٠،٠٠٠ درهم إماراتي.
ستشهد نسخة ٢٠٢٣ بدء المشاركين في مجموعات سرعة مختلفة. المجموعة الأولى مخصصة للنخبة رجال ونساء وفرق النخبة. سيتم تقسيم المشاركين المتبقين بناءً على متوسط سرعتهم ووفقا لذلك. المشاركون يقومون باختيار من مجموعة السرعة التي تناسب قدراتهم على أفضل وجه.
* سيتم تطبيق لوائح مكافحة المنشطات وقيود الركاب المحترفين. دخول الدراجين فئة النخبة سيتعين عليهم تقديم ترخيصهم المحلي أو الدولي للمنظمين.


فرق النخبة ونخبة الدراجين
- سيتعين على الركاب في فئة النخبة تقديم ترخيصهم المحلي أو الدولي ، الذي تم الحصول عليه من اتحادهم المحلي إلى المنظمين من أجل السماح لهم بالبدء في الموجة الأولى. يجب إدخال رقم الترخيص كجزء من عملية التسجيل وسيتم إجراء فحص الترخيص في اليوم السابق للسباق. إذا لم يتم تقديم أي ترخيص ، فسيتم وضع المشاركين في مجموعة السرعة التالية
- الدراجين المحترفين
يتم قبول الرياضيين الذين تم تسجيلهم كمحترفين كجزء من فريق UCI WorldTour ، فريق UCI Women WorldTour لفريق UCI Proteam ، بما في ذلك العامين التاليين لعضويتهم الأخيرة كمحترفين ، للمشاركة حصريًا لأغراض ترويجية. يجب إبراز تصريح النادي الرياضي الذي ينتمون إليه إلى لجنة التحكيم.

- مكافحة المنشطات

في حالة اختبارها إيجابيًا أثناء ضوابط مكافحة المنشطات التي تم إجراؤها في الحدث ، أو في حالة اختبارها إيجابيًا في الأشهر الستة (الستة) التي تليها ، تحتفظ المنظمة بالحق في طلب التعويض من المشارك الذي يطلب مبلغ ٢٠٠.٠٠٠.٠٠ درهم لتغطية الأضرار التي لحقت بصورة الحدث.

إذا كان المشارك ينتمي إلى اتحاد رياضي ، فسيكون الأخير ملزمًا بشكل مشترك بدفع العقوبة. سيتم استخدام مبلغ من المال لتعزيز ممارسة الرياضة للشباب.
