Created by runners for runners, this extraordinary race will take you on a breathtaking journey from the iconic Burj Al Arab to the awe-inspiring Burj Khalifa, as you conquer 13.1 miles (21.1 KM) of Dubai's stunning urban landscape on a race course that has the potential to be one of the fastest races in the world.

As you pound the pavement, you'll be treated to activations that will leave you exhilarated and inspired throughout the entire route. The excitement doesn't stop when you cross the finish line either. The race village, nestled in the iconic Burj Park in the heart of Downtown, next to the Dubai fountains. I will become a hub of activity and celebration, where runners from around the world will come together to share their stories and triumphs, with the finish line under the Burj Khalifa.

• By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

  We would suggest arriving to the start no less than 1hr before the start at 6 am. The event will provide coffee and food stuff at the start along with toilets and all necessary amenities.

  Elite Men - 6 AM

  *The event is chip times, so your race time will only start on passing the start. Please grade your self as per your expected run time and sign boarded at the holding pens.

• What are my options for parking?

  Metro Stations - You can park at any Metro Station through Dubai
  
  Finish / Race Village - You can park at any of the Dubai Mall parking's and catch the Metro or a shuttle to the start
  
  Start - You can park at the Dubai Police Academy and catch the Metro to Mall of the Emirates Metro or a Shuttle back to the start to collect your car

  All athletes will be asked to drop off a change of cloths at registration to ensure a comfortable experience after the race while you enjoy all the activities in Burj Park.
  
  All athletes will receive a race belt to carry their Keys, phones and water bottles along the route (we are excited to announce our no plastic reusable bottle initiative at all water water stations)

  Yes at registration, athletes will be given a bag with their Bib number on it which will allow you to collect and get changed at the finish.

• Mini Marathon 1KM Race Category details:

  The Burj2Burj Mini Marathon will take place on Saturday 20th January, starting and finishing in Burj Park with the Burj Khalifa as the backdrop.
  All kids under the age of 6 must be supported by an adult over the age of 21.
  
  Age restrictions: 4-12 years (Kids Under 6 must have a parent running with them.)
  Distance: 1KM (around the Dubai fountains)
  Race Briefing: 7:00 am

• Race Day Taxi:

  We recommend the use of a Taxi for the Emirates NBD Burj2Burj Half Marathon to ensure easy vehicle logistics.
  Start Location - Dubai Police Academy
  Finish Location - Wings Off Mexico, Dubai Opera or the Dubai Mall

• Shuttle Option information:

  You have two options for the Shuttle on race day
  Park at the start and catch the shuttle back to your car after the race
  Park at the Finish and catch a shuttle to the start
  Shuttles will run from 3:50am on the morning of the 21 January
  The last shuttle will leave at 5:10am to make the 30min journey to the start (DO NOT MISS THIS SHUTTLE AS YOU WILL MISS THE START)
  All shuttle users will get a wristband in their bags from bib collection. Do not lose this as it is you only pass the shuttle system!
  Parking for the START will be at the Police academy or any RTA parking available
  Parking at the finnish will either be at the Dubai Mall Fashion Parking (please use Upper Financial Centre Street), or the basement parking next to the Wings of Mexico.
  All Relay Runners will get access to the Shuttle system (please read below for your process)
  Post race Shuttle stops at 15:00 from this location

• Start Area:

  All necessary and required facilities will be available at the start area
  The event will start at 06:00 (do not be late)
  The event is self seeding with paces running at: 1h30; 1h40; 1h50; 2h00; 2:h10

• Route details:

  There are 6 water stations on route and all have Water, Humantra, Fruit, All Is Well Bars and Sports Firma Gels
  We are striving to achieve ZERO SINGLE USED PLASTIC on route. Please join us in this initiative, and leave all single used plastics at home. We will be providing race belts (collected at bib collection) and soft flasks along the route, please pick up your flask and keep it with you for the duration of the run (DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD) and help do your part for the greatest race of all... the race to sustainability!
  The route is closed off from vehicles and managed by Dubai Police and RTA
  Please be sure to enjoy the support along the way and thank our incredible volunteers and staff as you take on this ICONIC event.

• Finish Area:

  Finish will be outside the Armani Intersection and under the Burj Khalifa.
  Once finished the runners will get their Medals and make their way down to Burj Park, where they will enter the athlete ONLY area. Here you will find your 'drop off' bags and all necessary post event treats and recovery goods.
  Please join us in Burj Park for the remainder of the day, with some live entertainment, beer gardens and loads more.

• Shuttle for relay runners:

  The Emirates NBD Burj2Burj Half Marathon Relay will have two options for the runners:
  Catch the shuttle from the finish to the start and transition area
  Catch the shuttle from the Start to the Transition area and then to the Finish
  Shuttles with runner 2 will leave the Start or Finish area (Wings of Mexico) at 5:00 DO NOT BE LATE
  All shuttles will bring runner 1 back to race village. You can then catch the shuttles back to the start after the race, if needs be.
  Relay runners will start at the back of the race
  The first runner will need to tag the second runner before the second runner starts. (there are timing mats to control this and all times will be recorded)
