REGION'S LEADING CYCLING RACE DEDICATED TO WOMEMEN

The DP World Women’s Cycling Challenge will be held on 7th October 2023 on the Al Qudra Cycle Track in
Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. This highly popular event is organized under the umbrella of Dubai Sports Council Women Sports Committee, and in association with Dubai Municipality, RTA and Dubai Police.

DP World Women’s Cycling Challenge is for women of all cycling abilities, from elite experienced riders to recreational cyclists and novices.
It’s a fun as well as competitive event with the route taking riders through the beautiful Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve on its world class cycle track.
Participants will enjoy the beautiful desert landscape passing with a chance of spotting rare and protected wildlife.
The event is dedicated to promoting female health and wellness as well as promoting the sport of female cycling.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 rankings in each race category and all participants will receive finisher medals.

  NOTE: All team members must register individually within the same race distance and mention Team name during registration process. Each member of a team will pay their individual entry fee.
  Photo ID and proof of age will be required to verify the age categories entered.

• Race Pack / Number collection details?

  All successfully registered participants will receive their race pack on the event day during registration.

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  The route will have checkpoints and will offer hydration and medical assistance.
  There will be a medical team at the Riders Village as well as first aid and safety officers at each check point as well as first responders available along the route. The health and safety of the participants is paramount.

• What is the event program?

  Please note:
  Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before the race starts

• Where can I find the results to the event?

  Official results for The Women’s Cycling Challenge 2023 will be posted on the event website and social media platforms.

• What are the registration rules?

  All participants will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of The Women's Cycling Challenge in order to participate.
  Waivers must be agreed online to complete the registration process.
  All team members must register individually within the same race distance and mention Team name during registration process. Each member of a team will pay their individual entry fee.
  Top 3 finishers in each team will be ranked.
  Emirati categories restricted to UAE Nationality only
  There will be NO registrations on the race day.
  No refunds for participants who do not take part in the event for whatever reason.
  Transfer of race entries to another party is STRICTLY prohibited.
  Road Bikes ONLY are allowed.

• What race gear should I bring to the event?

  Pay attention to the hot weather and sun. Dress, hydrate, and protect yourself from the sun appropriately.
  The following are essentials:
  Bike
  Helmet
  Race apparel (jersey, shorts/bibs, helmet)
  Change of clothes for after race
  Shoes (clipless or non-clipless)
  Eye protection / sunglasses
  Proof of race entry
  Hydration and nutrition (before, during, and after race)
  Tool kit, including spare part essentials such as tubes, and a pump
  Plastic bags for wet clothing, and towels to dry off with or change of clothes
  Make sure your equipment is up to the race or ride is a very important and often one of the more overlooked areas for new riders. The last thing you want is to have a mechanical issue during the event due to something that could’ve been easily spotted and fixed.
  It’s a good idea to have a bike shop or mechanic to carry out a check on your bike at least a week before the event. Be sure to check everything from your helmet to the cleats on your shoes to ensure everything is in good condi
