This is a Run at the exciting new venue at the Dubai Academic City: The first-ever road race takes place on the closed-off roads of the Dubai Academic City. Where the runners pass famous universities like American University In the Emirates, Emirates Aviation University, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, and Zayed University.

• By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

  Runners are expected to arrive at 6 am, an hour prior to the start time of the event to ensure everything is in place for them to have a great experience when the Academic City run begins

• What are the start time(s) of the event?

  The Academic City Run will begin at 7 am on 29th January 2021

• What are my options for parking?

  All runners can park at the American University of Emirates car park. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

• Race Pack / Number collection details?

  All race packs will be available for collection at the event venue at 6 am on the day of the event itself. Please make sure you get there early to gets yours!

• Are there bag drop facilities?

  We do not have any bag drop facilities at the event to avoid crowding and storage of bags from different runners, please make sure all your belongings are safely kept in your car (only bring what's necessary)!

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  There will be 2 Hydration stations (water) on the course, Start and Finish area

• What estimated time will the event finish?

  We anticipate that the event will finish at 9 am.

• What are the course's highlights?

• What is the level of difficulty of the run?

  This Community Road run is ideal for all age levels including social to professional runners there is also a great addition for the family to join the 2.5KM run with having a lot of fun.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

  Social distancing and face masks at all times, temperature checkpoints.
  Social Distancing rules will be followed at all times and there will be temperate check at points for all participants. Facemasks are mandatory for all. In case of any emergency, an isolation room is also provided!
