Dubai Investments Green Run is a 3 Km fun & 5 Km jog or run for all ages and all abilities in Dubai Investments Park.
It supports the Smart Dubai initiatives founded on the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the smartest, and happiest city on earth and promote a green economy.
Dubai Investments Green Run is fully inclusive, offering people of all abilities the opportunity to take part. It is a ‘run-by-any-means’ event, to attract families, students, environment advocates and running enthusiasts, all for fun and the environment. Participants can run, walk, push strollers or use wheelchairs towards the finish line.

The health and safety of all participants, spectators, visitors, event management and crew is our highest priority.
Regarding the COVID 19 pandemic, we will follow the guidelines and protocols stipulated by the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention and Dubai Health Authority to ensure that every precautionary measure is implemented and adhered to in line with the UAE Government regulations.
Adherence to the 2 metre social distancing rules, regularly sanitizing and wearing masks at all times (unless engaged in a sports activity), will be strictly enforced.

• Who is eligible to enter the event?

  Eligible participants must be aged 9 years and over. Participants below 18 years of age, must obtain parent’s/guardian’s consent to enter. Stroller runners must consist of one adult with a child in a stroller.

• What are the run categories?

  5 Km Adult Male & Female (15 years +)
  5 Km Youth Male & Female (9 – 14 years)
  3 Km Adult Male & Female (15 years +)
  3 Km Youth Male & Female (9 – 14 years)

• Run pack/Numbers collection details:

  All successfully registered participants will receive their race pack on the event day during registration.

• What are my options for parking?

  There is plenty of parking space at Dubai Investments PJSC House.
  Wheelchair access is available for all areas.

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  Runners will bring their own re- usable, refillable water bottle that can be filled at the water stations situated at the start, finish areas and every 1 km along the route.
  Each water station will include safety officers to offer first aid.
  Medical team will be in attendance, stationed at the finish area and there will be additional ambulances around the run route.

• What is the event program?

  5:30 AM – Green Run Village opens \ Registration opens
  6:30 AM - Registration closes
  6:30 AM - Run briefing \ Warm up
  7:00 AM - Start 5 Km and 3 Km
  8:30 AM - Awards ceremony
  10:00 AM - Dubai Investments Green Run celebrations end

• When is the registration closing?

  Tuesday 11th February 2022 or when Dubai Investments Green Run capacity is full.

• What is the cut off run for the run?

  Cut off time:
  5 Km run to be completed in 60 minutes
  3 Km run to be completed in 40 minutes
  Any runner who exceeds the maximum authorized time shall be disqualified with a DNF (Did Not Finish) and must return their bib to the steward. Any runner who arrives at a check point/finish point after the deadline shall be disqualified.

• Waiver:

  Each participant has informed themselves of the medical contraindications that may affect their participation in Dubai Investments Green Run and, absolves the race organizers (including medical and technical staff) of any responsibility for medical problems or injuries that they may incur during the event.
  
  By signing the race rules and waiver, each participant confirms that they are aware of this and agrees explicitly not to hold the organizer liable nor to claim compensation in any way.

  All participants, spectators, visitors, event management and crew over the age of 16, must fully complete both COVID-19 vaccination doses 14 days before taking part in, or attending the event.

  You will be asked to present the ALHOSN app or vaccination card to gain admission to Dubai Investments Green Run.
