The G.O.A.T. Trail Race by Peaks Sports will take place on one of the toughest and most rugged mountains of Ras Al Khaima in the UAE.
The event will feature two different distances:
OASIS ULTRA
50km 3500m+ elevation gain.
Cut-off time: 16hrs.
(A proof of finishing a trail marathon or equivalent is required).
THE ASSAULT
30km 2000m+ elevation gain.
Cut-off time: 9hrs.
Race Start/Finish Location: Near Wadi Ghalilah Dam for all distances.
The medical certificate is mandatory for both 30km & 50km, please email it to [email protected] on or before 21 January, 2024.

Race pack & BIB collection dates:

Parking is available and can be accessible by a saloon car a 4-wheel drive is not required.
Camping spots are available next to the start line. Tents & camping gear are not provided by the organizer.

Race Day information:
COURSE MARKINGS
Always be sure to follow course flags and markings on race day, which take precedence over any maps or GPX files. Course markings will reflect any last-minute course re-routes.
WEATHER
Please be sure to check the weather before the race day. Weather can range from high temperatures during the day to cold & windy at the
highest points.
MEDICAL
Certified medical personnel will be located at every Aid Station (except remote stations). There will also be a medical tent with certified medical personnel at the finish line in Ghalilah.

The Course:
The course for both distances, 30km & 50km starts from Wadi Ghalilah Dam out on Tarmac road and back to the start. It then transitions on a jeep trail, before hitting the steep climb. The course goes all the way up to the top of Jabel Jais and descends at the UAE/Oman border next to the military hut. The 30km will continue on the Jabal Jais ridge towards the café and back to Ghalilah.
Whereas the 50km runners descend Wadi Sheha to then climb up the Hidden Oasis trail back to Jabel Jais. From there a short descent on the tarmac towards the viewing deck and then a climb to Puro café before descending to the finish at Wadi Ghalilah Dam.
COURSE CUT-OFFS
Each runner will have 16 hours to complete the 50km course.
Each runner will have 9 hours to complete the 30km course.
ROAD SAFETY
It is the runner’s responsibility to safely cross the road. Please always be aware of your surroundings and use caution during these sections of the course. Headphones are discouraged
