Experience the roughest Obstacle Course Race (OCR) in the region – an almighty battle is about to take place at XQuarry. This season there will be 3 race with different courses and challenges but the main challenges will still be within the quarry with the short 6k loop. The second race will venture out into the desert with steep dunce climbs and the season final The Mountain challenge will lead up to the top of the plateau for the 12k races, the 6k race will remain inside the quarry (12k = Quarry + desert or mountain).
The winners will receive trophies and amazing prizes - AED 1000 Adventure HQ shopping vouchers for winners.
You and your fellow Gladiators will face more than 30 challenges that test your strength, endurance, agility, physical skills and mental stamina – including challenges that were built to test the toughest 4×4 off road vehicles that frequent the XQuarry park. Throughout the 6km course you will navigate rocky terrain and challenging climbs, move rocks, scale boulders, trudge your way through our mud pit, and use your wit and agility to move swiftly through the gauntlet of obstacles that await you. For our top (12k) Gladiators, the challenge is twice as hard as you will aim to complete 6km quarry loop + venuture into the desert or climb Faya mountain. There will be stations with free drinking water and shade along the trail. All essential way points and obstacles will be marshalled to ensure route finding.
Runners and registered spectators will be able to watch and support the Gladiators in our Athlete Village from our viewing area/s with F&B available, music and activities. We will also have an area to wash the dirt away.
PARKING will be available by the Athlete Village directly to the start and finish of the race.

• By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

  6:20am or at least 30min before your race starts

• What are my options for parking?

  there is enough on site parking. the road to the park is a gravel road but a 4x4 is not required

• Race Pack / Number collection details?

  Available for collection on event day in the Athlete Village
  Be checked in at least 20 minutes before the start of your race.
  *There is NO on-the-day registration.

• Are there bag drop facilities?

  No - you can keep your bag in the car. parking is next to the start line

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  Three water stations on course. Medical staff and government authorities will be in attendance in athlete village and for the course if required

• What estimated time will the event finish?

  The course will be closed and cleared from 10:00AM

• Where can I find the results to the event?

  Results will be shared online

• Is there a spectator area?

  Runners and registered spectators will be able to watch and support from the athlete village as attendees can see a lot of the course from our viewing area/s. Also we will have a small bag drop area for those that need to use, along with toilets and an area to wash some of the dirt off.

• Covid Regulations

  We follow all government guidelines - as of now you will need to be fully vaccinated (as proof al hosn app required) or you need to present a PCR test no older than 48hrs

• Do I need to sign XQuarry Waiver

  Yes the xQuarry waiver is mandaotry and will be check at the entrance. you can sign the waiver online before the event to speed up the gate entry process at the race.
