Join the Global Running day activities at Train Yas!
Set your best time around the 5.2km loop anytime between 6pm and 10pm, with the option to run, walk or crawl as many laps as you like through the night on Yas Marina Circuit.
The event is open to all ages, families are invited to bring the kids along in strollers or head out and get your steps in for the day. People of determination are also invited join us in the Global Running Day activities.

• Will there be prizes?

  Yes there will be overall prizes awarded for the following age groups:
  0 – 8 years | 9 – 12 years | 13-17 years | 18-29 years | 30 – 39 years | 40 – 49 years | 50 years+
  Awards will be available for collection from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council Offices the following day (Thursday June 2nd)
  There will be no prize giving at the event

• Do I need to be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 Vaccine to participate?

  Yes, you will need to be fully vaccinated and present your green al Hosn App at the race pack collection to take part in all ADSC events. 96 hour negative PCR test is required for those over the age of 12.

  نعم ، ستحتاج إلى تلقيح كامل وتقديم تطبيق الحصن الأخضر الخاص بك في مجموعة حزم السباق للمشاركة في جميع فعاليات مركز أبو ظبي الرياضي. مطلوب اختبار PCR سلبي لمدة ٩٦ ساعة لمن هم فوق سن ١٢.

• By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

  Any time between 5.30pm and 8.30pm

• Race Pack / Number collection details?

  Race pack collection will take place on event evening near the start line. You will be sent your bib number via SMS before pack collection opens.

• Are there bag drop facilities?

  No there will be no bag drop at the event.

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  There will be water stations in the race village and out on the course.
  Please note - water stations will be self service and teams will not be allowed to feed outside of the designated zones. Any participants found doing so will automatically be disqualified.

  The cut off time for the event is 10.00pm

• How is this event handling Covid-19 related concerns?

  Participants to wear a mask before the start and once you finish the event (no need to wear a mask while participating).
  Staff will wear masks for the entire duration of the event and sanitize regularly.
  Self-social distancing of 2m at all times except when participating.
  Self-service water stations at the finish line.
  Sanitize your hands regularly at designated stations.
  If you feel unwell on the morning of the event with flu-like symptoms, please stay at home!

• كيف يتعامل هذا الحدث مع المخاوف المتعلقة بـ (كوفيد 19)؟

  يجب على المشاركين ارتداء الكمامة قبل البدء وبمجرد الانتهاء من الفعالية (لا داعي لارتداء كمامة أثناء المشاركة).
  سيرتدي الموظفون الكمامات طوال مدة السباق.
  تباعد اجتماعي ذاتي بمقدار 2 متر في جميع الأوقات، ما عدا البدء بالمشاركة في السباق.
  محطات مياه ذاتية الخدمة عند خط النهاية.
  عقم يديك بانتظام في المحطات المخصصة.
  إذا شعرت بتوعك في صباح يوم الحدث بأعراض تشبه أعراض الأنفلونزا، فيرجى البقاء في المنزل!

• Volunteers:

  Please thank the volunteers as they are volunteering their own time to help you enjoy your race and get you home safely to your families. Please also respect the host community as we are guests and please adhere to best practices to help protect others. You MUST wear an appropriate mask whilst moving in and around the venue prior to the start of your run. Whilst running in your race you may remove your mask but please remember to maintain the noted distance between runners and allow adequate spacing when passing other runners. Bag Drop - There will be NO bag drop onsite.
