How fast can you run 1km?
Join us for the Halloween 1km Run Challenge at City Centre Me’aisem and get the chance to win some amazing prizes.

Parking closes at 7.45am so make sure you are nice and early to Check In

• What are the COVID Procedures in place for the run?

  Keep a 2m social distance at all times.
  Wear a disposable mask till just before you start and once you finished.
  Stay in the Race Village area till your distance is called to the start area.
  No spectators – except for juniors u18 will be allowed 1 adult to assist.
  No prize giving – winners will be informed post race where to collect prizes.
  No gatherings / hugging / touching / group photos etc.
  Any participants not observing any of the above rules will be disqualified without a warning!

• Where is the venue of the event?

  City Centre Me’aisem - outside in the mall car park

• When is Check In and Timing Chip collection?

  Race bib and chip collection is from 07h00 on the morning of the event in the car park near Entrance 1.

• Parking Info

  At the mall - outside car park
  Parking of the mall will be available but from 8AM till 9:30AM, only 4 lanes will be available as the rest will be closed for the run.

• Bag Drop

  There is NO bag drop! So please keep all valuables in the car or leave them at home.

• What is the Race Day Program?

  07h00 – Run Check In Opens
  07h55 – Run Check In Closes
  08h00 – RUN STARTS
  09h00 – Run Finishes
  09h05 – Shopping Time
  
  There is no PRIZE GIVING after the run due to COVID Precautions. Winners will be informed and invited to collect their prizes from City Centre Me’aisem.

• What is the level of difficulty of the course?

  Easy level - in and around the car park

• Are there prizes/awards?

  1 x Fastest Male
  1 x Fastest Female
  1 x Best Dressed Adult
  1 x Best Dressed kid
  Due to COVID restrictions there will be no on-the-day Prize Giving but winners will be informed by CCM Management when and where to come and collect their prizes.

  1 x Water Station on the course at the Finish line.

• How will the run be started?

  Please wait in the Race Village area till you are called to the Start Area and keep your mask on until you get to the start line.
  The Start Area will be a social distanced grid of rows with 3 cones per row spaced 2m apart. As the people in front of you move closer to the start line, so do you and remember to keep that 2m gap.
  When you reach the front of the queue, runners will be set off 3 at a time with a 10 second gap between each start.
  Only once you cross over the start mats your race and time will start.
  Chip times will be used for this race so that means your time will only start being recoreded once you cross the timing mats so it does not matter how far back you start.

• What do I do once I have finished running?

  When crossing the finish line, please keep moving through the finish area where you will receive your finishers medal and immediately put on your face mask.
  Make sure to wear your mask once you have finished.
  You will be given your snack voucher once you have left the finish chute. Proceed to the respective counter and collect your snack.
  Scan the QR codes to see your result.
  No Prize Giving due to COVID restrictions.
