Option 1: Camping Gear + Dinner + Entertainment | includes:

Option 2: Dinner + Entertainment | includes:

• Camping gear: you can bring your own

Whether you're a seasoned camper or trying it for the first time, this experience offers a perfect way to relax, connect with nature, and meet other participants before embarking on your HIGHLANDER Lyra adventure.

• By what time should I arrive at the event venue?

  The journey begins at the Fujairah Adventure Center in Tawiyeen, where participants will gather at a designated parking area. At the center, you will check-in, and receive your event kit, and meals for the day. After check-in, your adventure kicks off!
  
  Options available are camping the night before on November 16th, in a designated area set by the organizer. More details will be shared closer to the event date.
  
  If you prefer to book a transfer from the comfort of your home to the event start, we have partnered with a transport company that is offering transport service at good rates.
  
  Closer to the event date a more detailed itinerary description of the logistics and a map will be shared with all confirmed participants for better planning of your mobility.

• What are the start time(s) of the event?

  HIGHLANDER Lyra hikers start their hiking adventure on Sunday 17th of November 2024 at 7:00am.

• Where do I go for the event?

  The journey begins at the Fujairah Adventure Center in Tawiyeen.

• What are my options for parking?

  There is a designated parking for participants at the Fujairah Adventure Center in Tawiyeen.

• HIGHLANDER Kit collection details?

  Participants will gather at a designated parking area. At the center, you will check-in, and receive your event kit, and meals for the day. After check-in, your adventure kicks off!

• Are there bag drop facilities?

  Yes, there will be a designated area for bag drop off if need be.

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  Yes, there will be checkpoints for HIGHLANDER ID stamps, hydration stations, and Emergency/first aid stations, and drop out stations at specific locations along the trail that are accessible.

• What estimated time will the event finish?

  The time to finish this hiking route depends on your physical fitness and your pace. An estimated between 6 to 10 hours to complete 25km loop trail. More details on the hiking trail and elevation will be available on the HIGHLANDER official website and on the event briefing and Event Handbook that will be shared with all those who have completed their registration.

• Where can I find the results to the event?

  This is not a race, on the contrary, the core DNA of HIGHLANDER is for you to challenge yourself and to simply reach the finish point. HIGHLANDER events are for connecting with nature and meeting like-minded individuals forging new friendships along the trail. However, for safety reasons, there is a certain time frame in which you need to complete the hike.
