• When and where is the Race Pack Collection?

  In person at the main entrance to Ski Dubai no earlier than 45 minutes and no later than 15 minutes prior to your start time. Doors open at 05:45am for Elite Fitness ONLY registrants.

• What are the Start Times?

  You will only be permitted to start at the time corresponding to your registered category. No changing will be permitted once the published category change time limit has passed.
  Runners will start in socially distanced groups of 5.
  Everyone competes (and will be timed as) as an individual, regardless of when/with who you start.
  All competitors should have arrived and be checked in: collected race number (pinned to FRONT of shirt) and timing chip (around ANKLE only) and be ready no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start of their category.

• How can I get my Free T-Shirt?

  All Ice Warrior Challenge Finishers will receive a souvenir Ice Warrior t-shirt AFTER you've finished the race. Simply approach the check-in desk (where you collected your bib/chip pack), show your medal (to prove you finished) and have your bib marked in exchange for a t-shirt. One per finisher.

• What should I wear?

  You are racing in -4 temperatures, you will get hot in there, however we recommend that you wear normal sports gear and soft sole shoes and gloves with a grip are recommended. We will provide you with a helmet however you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring a change of clothes as you will get wet during the race and we don’t want you to catch a cold!

• Are spectators allowed?

  In accordance with current government regulations; no spectators will be permitted; please attend only if you are running. Family and friends will not be permitted at the event venue.

• What are the Social Distancing Measures taken?

  All guidelines set by government authorities will be followed. When you finish your race you will be expected to depart the venue / event straight away, maintaining social distancing measures.

• How to choose my Start Group?

  > All categories offer limited places on a first-come-first-served basis.
  > Please do NOT register in the Elite Fitness Category unless you are 'Advanced or Extremely Fit' (Organizer reserves the right to re-categorize you based on previous results). All 'Elite Fitness' participants must complete the course in less than 25 minutes.
  > The 'Ladies Only' category has been introduced for those ladies who wish to compete in a largely 'ladies only' venue. Note there may be some of the slower men from the previous categories still competing. There will also be male and female staff around the venue.

• What if I miss my start group / arrive late?

  It is very important you arrive and are ready to start at your registered start times. To maintain social distancing measures we will stick to a strict timetable. If you miss your start time you may have to wait until a suitable gap appears which may well be towards to the end of the event. Starting late also means you may face a cut off time if you cannot finish inside the allocated times. PLEASE DO ALL YOU CAN TO ARRIVE FOR THE TIME YOU REGISTERED FOR.

• Any important information that competitors need to be aware of prior to arrival?

  • Anyone who has had contact with an individual who is confirmed as COVID 19 Positive in the last 14 days must not attend and must remain in quarantine.
  • Individuals who are experiencing any flu like symptoms including, headache, high temperature, fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat must not attend the event and must self-isolate.
  • Mandatory contactless screening of all participants will be conducted on arrival prior to registration, bib collection and venue entry on the day of the event. Based on DMHS guidelines [If a visitor temperature equals or exceeds 37.5 Celsius, he/she will be prohibited from entering the facility]
  • Records of all participants, including names, telephone numbers and temperature on arrival, will be maintained in order to assist if contact tracing becomes necessary.
  • Spectators for the event will be not be permitted under current event guidelines.
  • All participants will be required wear a face mask at all time whilst in the venue. The mask may b
