Competitors will use a map and compass to find as many control points as they can within a 6 hour cutoff period. Each control point will be worth certain points based on their level of difficulty, so the objective is to score the highest amount of points. The race will include mountain biking, kayaking, trail running and navigating. Competitors will have to be self sufficient carrying everything they need with them in backpacks. The exact location of all the control points will be kept secret until race day and given to competitors with the maps on race day at the race briefing one hour before the start of the race. The competitors brief will be sent to competitors when they register and will include all the detailed information about the race and a list of the compulsory equipment that competitors will have to carry with them or have at their transition areas. The transition area will be at the start/ finish and competitors will set out to find a control point from there and then return to the transition area to log the score for that control point. Competitors will then head out to find the next control point to score more points. So after each control point competitors will return to their transition area to get fresh supplies, catch their breath and get what ever they need for the next section. So take it easy and pace yourself or go hard and race flat out for the full six hours.

The race is suitable for athletes of all levels of fitness since competitors can race at their own pace and for as long as they are comfortable within the six hour period. Competitors will have to complete a mandatory online first aid course which is free. The link will be sent upon registration. Children under 18 but older than 12 are welcome to enter if they are part of a team with at least two adults. Teams of two competitors are allowed to race together but will have to enter as individuals and their results will be recorded as individuals. Each competitor or team is allowed to have one support crew member in their transition area to help them with transitions.

  Each competitor or team will have to provide their own supplies and equipment which is to be kept in their respective transition area. One support crew member is allowed in the transition area to support their competitors.

• What estimated time will the event finish?

  The race has a 6 hour cut off time. Competitors can choose to race for the full 6 hours or a shorter period of time.

• Where can I find the results to the event?

  Results will be posted on social media.
