As Part of OPAL's initiatives to support community development projects, an agreement was signed between the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) with Excellence Performance sports management company to organize the mountain bike cross country race.
With this agreement, Opal will be added as a title sponsor of the Majan Mountain Bike Race which will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019.

In response to feedback and based on our experience of the last two years of MTB in Oman as well as input from the Oman Cycling Committee; we have launched the new identity of the Oman MTB known as the Opal Mountain Bike Race with a new title sponsor, re-branding as the "Majan Mountain Bike Race". This is of course not just about changing the name but to present a new challenge to all bikers.
