Enduro Race 2021
Following are the basic details for the Enduro race 2021:
Date: 24/12/2021
Venue: Fujairah Adventure Park, Fujairah, U.A.E
Time: Participants are requested to be present at FAP at 6:00AM. The race is all set to start at 7:30AM. 7:30AM will be the starting bells for the Enduro and shall be completed within the time frame of 10:30 – 11:00.
Description: The Enduro race has a total of 3 stages. All riders have to complete all 3 stages in order to qualify. We have recently developed 2 new stages which are going to be a surprise for some riders. Every stage is unique in its own way. All stages have new features and accents added to it.
Stage 1: 2.1Km
Stage 2: 2.5Km
Stage 3: 2.6Km
All visitors are allowed free on the 24th of December in the Fujairah Adventure Park.
Category: Elite – Master (40 above) – Expert (39 below) - Ladies
Important: On the race day registrations will start at 5:30AM. Riders arriving after 6:30AM will not be allowed to register on race day. Pre-registered riders have no issues.
All riders are requested to be present on race day by 6:00AM.
MTB ARABIA XC is now introducing ENDURO to UAE MTB riders and we are coming up with lots of fun for all at Fujairah Adventures Park beautifully made for MTB, BMX and Hikes with all facilities available at the park
What is enduro racing?
There’s a clue in the name – it’s gravity racing but with an endurance element. In the early days, ‘enduro’ races were long-distance cross-country races, but those now tend to be known as marathon races.
Modern enduro events are very different. Enduro races are made up of multiple downhill stages, which are timed to generate the event’s result, while the uphills are ‘liaisons’. Here riders have to reach the start of the next stage within a time limit but, providing a rider meets that time limit, the actual time doesn’t contribute to the final result. Got it?
