Proença Cross Trail was born in 2012, at a time when this sport was beginning to grow in Portugal. At the time, it was part of the Oh Meu Deus Series circuit. A circuit that included races in Proença-a-Nova, Vila de Rei and ended with Oh Meu Deus - Serra da Estrela.
Today it's one of the oldest Portuguese trails and the one where many have completed an ultramarathon for the first time.
We're sticking to the concept that has always guided us: running in nature, running safely and, for those who are allowed, running fast. A challenging, fun route that passes through some very beautiful places.
