This is a series of Runs for all ages and abilities starting and finishing at the Al Furjan Spinneys store. Entry is free to all participants. Register once and participate in as many of the runs as possible; - with the aim to beat your time from the previous run, increase your fitness levels and socialise with like-minded runners on the day! Runners will only receive ONE shirt and ONE run number for the entire series.

• How do I collect the Shirt & Run Number?

  Runners will only receive ONE shirt and ONE run number with timing chip for the entire series. At the first Run you enter you will receive your run t-shirt and personalized run number for the Series. When entering any other runs in the series wear your t-shirt and remember to bring your run number with timing chip attached as this has all your data on it. If you forget it at home on run day or have misplaced it, we can issue you with a new Run Number but at a cost of AED10 which can be collected at Run Check In on the day of the run. Children under 3yrs do not receive a Run Number and shirt, but are more than welcome to join in either by walking or in a stroller.

• How do I find my Run Number?

  Run Numbers will be allocated once entries close and be available for download from midday on the Wednesday before the Run.

• When is Run Check In and run number and timing chip collection?

  Run Number collection is on the morning of the run at Run Check In which opens at 7am.
  You must have checked in and received your Run Number with timing chip attached 30 minutes before your run starts.

• What are the run timings?

  08h00: 2 lap run starts
  08h05: 1 lap run starts

• What is the Run Day Program?

  Be checked in at least 20 - 30 minutes before the start of the run.
  07h00 – Run Check In Opens
  07h50 – Run Check In Closes for all distances
  07h55 – Run Briefing
  08h00 – 2 lap run starts
  08h05 – 1 lap run starts
  09h00 – Cut off time for all runs
  09h05 - Lucky Draw and breakfast snack
  10h00 - Run Finishes

• When and where is the Run Pack Collection?

  Run Pack collection is on the morning of the run at Run Check In which opens at 07h00.
  Run Numbers will be emailed to all runners and will also be on show at Run Check In on the morning of the run.
  Once you know your run number, proceed directly to your respective Run Number collection desk and collect your Run Number with timing chip attached to the back of it. Safety pins will be provided in and around the Run Check In area.
  Please check that all your data which is printed on the label of your Run Number is correct. This includes
  your name and gender and in the event of there being any errors, please let our registration staff know so we can change it for you so you have the correct result when finishing the run.

• How do I use my Timing Chip?

  Timing chips are attached to the back of your Run Number.
  Ensure your Run Number has a timing chips stuck to the back and if not, please see Super Sports staff on the day to issue you with a new Run Number.
  DO NOT REMOVE THE CHIP FROM THE RUN NUMBER. IF YOU RUN WITH NO NUMBER – YOU WILL RECEIVE NO TIME AND NO RESULT!

  Flat and easy

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  1 x water station at the u-turn for those doing a second lap
  1 x water station at the finish line / run village

  Results can be viewed from 12 noon on the same day at http://www.supersportsuae.com/race-results/

• Where can I find the Run Photos?

  These will be available on Facebook: Super Sports Events and be posted 72 hours after they have been checked and edited. Individual photos are not guaranteed.

• Any additional information participants should know about?

  Further information regarding the Spinneys Family Fun Run (Run Briefing, Run Course etc.) can be found in the Event Downloads section of this page, so ensure you have a clear understanding of the rules and regulations as well as what the course will look like / entail.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

• Why have I not received any race emails from the event organizer?

  Race emails are sent 7 days before race day, and on the Wednesday before the race at midday. If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam / junk / promotions or other folders and un-spam us so you can receive future emails from us, Super Sports UAE.
