This series of community Fun Runs is for all ages and abilities. Run or walk covering distances of between 2 to 5km. Strollers are more than welcome!
All first time runners receive a t-shirt and then when completing each run collect your AED20 Spinneys voucher, finishers medal, snack and downloadable certificate of participation!

• First time runners, how do you collect the Shirt?

  First time runners will need to look for their number on the registration board at run check-in, which opens from 7.30am onwards. Each shirt is linked to a number so once you have found your number approach the check-in team and collect your shirt.
  Please be aware that there is only 1 t-shirt per person for the 2022 series of runs.
  Children under 3yrs do not receive a t-shirt but are more than welcome to join in either by walking or in a stroller.

• What are the distances?

  • Circle Mall JVC - Run the 2.5km or 5km.
  • Meydan: Polo Residences - Run the 2.5km or 5km.

• What is the Run Day Program?

  Be checked in at least 20 - 30 minutes before the start of the run.
  07h30 – Run Check In Opens
  07h50 – Run Check In Closes for all distances
  07h55 – Run Briefing
  08h00 – Run Starts
  09h00 – Run Finishes / Collect Snack / Depart Venue

• Is there any Parking available?

  Yes, in and around the start area.

• What is the level of difficulty of the course?

  Flat and easy

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  For each venue, there will be one water station out on course.
  All participant will also receive a snack and water once they have completed the run.

• Where can I find the Run Photos?

  These will be available on Facebook: Spinneys Family Run and be posted 72 hours after they have been checked and edited. Individual photos are not guaranteed.

• Any additional information participants should know about?

  Further information regarding the Spinneys Family Fun Run (Run Briefing, Run Course etc.) can be found in the Event Downloads section of this page, so ensure you have a clear understanding of the rules and regulations as well as what the course will look like / entail.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

  • Self-social distancing.
  • Masks are optional.
  • Self-service water stations out on course and at the finish line.
  • Sanitize your hands regularly at designated stations.

• Why have I not received any run emails from the event organizer?

  Run emails are sent 3 days before run day, and on the Friday before the run at 5pm. If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam / junk / promotions or other folders and un-spam us so you can receive future emails from us, Super Sports UAE. If you still can’t find your run emails, please use the Contact Organizer button on this page.

• Spinneys Voucher

  Each person who has entered and completed the run will be given an AED20 voucher to redeem in store at Spinneys.
  See voucher for specific details on usage and expiry.

• Refunds/Cancellations

  Once entries close or the event is sold out, no refunds are possible for whatever reason which includes and is not limited to: change in personal circumstances, sickness, travel restrictions, or any circumstances related to Covid 19 which may prevent you from participating in the event.
  Unclaimed run packs including shirt, medal, snack, and the voucher will be forfeited in full after the start of a respective distance.
