The Spinneys Run is a community run taking place in several communities around the UAE. It is a fantastic way to get your friends and family running and a great first step into the journey of achieving an active lifestyle. The aim of the run is engage individuals from all ages, shapes and sizes and allows everyone to experience running in a competitive yet social environment.
You can walk, jog or run distances covering between 2.5 - 5km. Strollers are also more than welcome as remember the goal is to get the whole family included on the journey to a healthier lifestyle!
At all Spinneys runs you will receive:

• When is Check In and run number collection?

  Check In is done on the morning of the race at 7:30am.
  
  Run numbers will be emailed to all runners 48 hours before the event and run numbers will also be on show at the Check In area on the morning of the race. Once you know your run number, proceed directly to your respective Bib collection desk and collect your run number as well as your Spinneys T-shirt.

• Where do I collect my shirt?

  You can collect your shirt when Checking In on run day.

• What are the distances?

  • 2.5km
  • 5km

• What is the Run Day Program?

  Be checked in at least 20 - 30 minutes before the start of the run.
  07h30 – Run Check In Opens
  07h50 – Run Check In Closes for all distances
  07h55 – Run Briefing
  08h00 – Run Starts
  09h00 – Run Finishes / Collect Snack / Depart Venue

• Is there any Parking available?

  Yes, in and around the start area.

• What is the level of difficulty of the course?

  Flat and easy

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  There will be one water station out on course.
  All participant will also receive a snack and water once they have completed the run.

• Where can I find the Run Photos?

  These will be available on Facebook: Spinneys Family Run and be posted 72 hours after they have been checked and edited. Individual photos are not guaranteed.

• Any additional information participants should know about?

  Further information regarding the Spinneys Family Fun Run (Run Briefing, Run Course etc.) can be found in the Event Downloads section of this page, so ensure you have a clear understanding of the rules and regulations as well as what the course will look like / entail.

• Why have I not received any run emails from the event organizer?

  Run emails are sent during the week of the event. Make sure to register with the correct email ID so that you receive these emails. Please note company email ID’s are often blocked by the company service provider. If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam, junk or promotions folder and mark us as ‘not spam’ to ensure that you receive future race information emails from us. If you still have any trouble with this, please contact us on [email protected].

• Refunds/Cancellations

  Once entries close or the event is sold out, no refunds are possible for whatever reason which includes and is not limited to: change in personal circumstances, sickness, travel restrictions, or any circumstances may prevent you from participating in the event.
  Unclaimed run packs including shirt, medal, and snack will be forfeited in full after the start of a respective distance.
