Your aim is to stair climb for the full hour, focusing on keeping a consistent pace throughout.
If you’d like to take the elevator down to the ground floor because you are worried about safety or due to injuries/pain that is aggravated by descending stairs, then please feel free to do so. The challenge is focused on the going up, rather than going down!
Remember this as much about exercise and fun, as it is about safety. So please go at your own pace, ensuring you are staying hydrated throughout the session. If you need to stop on the stairs, then please do so out of peoples way who are coming up behind you and at every level you can leave the stairwell and descend by the elevators to the ground floor.
