WALK, RUN FOR UNITY IN DIVERSITY
The Emirates NBD Unity Run is the leading community event in the UAE, supporting people of determination and promoting the cause of inclusiveness in all areas of society. It actively supports Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination, Senses Residential and Day Care Centre and Emirates Red Crescent.
The Emirates NBD Unity Run is organized annually under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Protection of the Rights of People of Determination, and organized under the umbrella of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Community Sports Initiative.
Participants can enter a 3 km fun run/walk or the timed 5 km and timed 10 km. People of Determination and their ‘buddies’ are encouraged to participate and join in the carnival atmosphere as everyone celebrates unity in diversity in the UAE.
The Emirates NBD Unity Village offers festive fun for the whole family, including entertainment and food outlets. Celebrating the UAE , ‘… a community for everyone’.

• Who is eligible to enter the run?

  Participants below 18 years of age, must obtain parent’s/guardian’s consent to participate.
  Please note that Under-10 year old’s have to be accompanied by one adult.
  Stroller runners must consist of one adult with a child in a stroller.

• Does The Emirates NBD Unity Run support any organization?

It actively supports Al Noor Training Centre for People of Determination, Senses Residential and Day Care Centre and UAE Red Crescent.

• Can people with disabilities take part ?

  People of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
  Entry for people of determination is completely free of charge.
  Participants may walk run or use wheel chairs.

• What are the run categories?

  3km Walk/Run

• When and where is The Emirates NBD Unity Run?

  The Emirates NBD Unity Run will be held on the 19th November 2022 in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

• Will there be hydration stations available?

  Yes. Participants can refresh themselves with water provided at the Aquafina hydration stations along the run route and in the Unity Run Village.

• What is the event program?

  6:00 AM - Open Registration
  6:30 AM - Open Unity Village
  7:30 AM - Close Registration
  7:45 AM - Race briefing & Warm up
  8:00 AM - Start 3 km Walk/Run, 5 Km and 10 km
  9:30 AM – 10 km, 5 km Run & 3 km Walk/Run Ends
  11:00 AM - The Emirates NBD Unity Run 2022 Ends
  
  Please note:
  All access roads closing 7:45 AM
  Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before their run/walk starts
  All Unity Village vendors are advised to be set up by 6:15 AM

• What is the event registration closing date?

  Registration closes on Wednesday 16th November 2022 or when The Emirates NBD Unity Run capacity is full. Register early to avoid any disappointment.

• What is The Emirates NBD Unity Run route?

  There will be three marked distances, 3km, 5km and 10km.

  Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed during the run.

• EVENT WAIVER

  *Please Note
  All entrants will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of The Emirates NBD Unity Run 2022 in order to participate. Waivers must be agreed online to complete the registration process. There will be NO registrations on the run day.
  No refunds for participants who do not eventually take part in the run for whatever reason. Transfer of run entries to another party is STRICTLY prohibited.

  Each participant has informed themselves of the medical contraindications that may affect their participation in the Emirates NBD Unity Run 3KM, 5KM and 10KM, absolves the run organizers (including medical and technical staff) of any responsibility for medical problems or injuries that they may incur during the event. By signing the run rules and waiver, each participant confirms that they are aware of this. The organizers reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the event taken
