WALK, RUN FOR UNITY IN DIVERSITY 

The Emirates NBD Unity Run is the leading community event in the UAE, supporting people of determination and promoting the cause of inclusiveness in all areas of society. The Unity Run is organized annually under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Protection of the Rights of People of Determination, and organized under the umbrella of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Community Sports Initiative.
Participants can enter a 3 km fun run/walk or the timed 5 km and 10km Runs. People of Determination and their ‘buddies’ are encouraged to participate and join in the carnival atmosphere as everyone celebrates unity in diversity in the UAE.
The Unity Run Village offers festive fun for the whole family, including entertainment and food outlets. Celebrating the UAE, ‘… a community for everyone’. 

• Who is eligible to enter The Emirates NBD Unity Run?

  Participants below 18 years of age, must obtain parent’s/guardian’s consent to participate.
  Please note that Under-10 year old’s have to be accompanied by one adult.
  Stroller runners must consist of one adult with a child in a stroller.

• Does The Emirates NBD Unity Run support any organization?

  The Emirates NBD Unity Run is the leading community event in the UAE, supporting people of determination and promoting the cause of inclusiveness in all areas of society.

• Can people with disabilities take part ?

  People of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
  Entry for people of determination is completely free of charge.
  Participants may walk run or use wheel chairs.

• What are the run categories?

  3KM Community Walk/Run
  5KM Timed Run
  10KM Timed Run

• When and where is The Emirates NBD Unity Run?

  The Emirates NBD Unity Run will be held on Sunday 17th November 2024 in Expo City Dubai.

• Will there be hydration stations available?

  Yes. Participants can refresh themselves with water provided at the Al Ain water stations along the run route and in The Unity Run Village.

• What is the event program?

  6:00 AM - Open Registration
  6:30 AM - Open The Unity Run Village
  7:30 AM - Close Registration
  7:45 AM - Race briefing & Warm up
  8:00 AM - Start 3km Walk/Run, 5Km Run and 10Km
  9:30 AM – 10Km, 5km Run and 3km Walk/Run Ends
  11:00 AM - The Emirates NBD Unity Run 2024 Ends
  
  Please note:
  Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before their run/walk starts
  All The Emirates NBD Unity Run Village vendors are advised to be set up by 6:15 AM

• What is the event registration closing date?

  Registration closes on Thursday 14th November 2024 or when The Emirates NBD Unity Run capacity is full. Register early to avoid any disappointment.

• What is The Emirates NBD Unity Run route?

  There will be three marked distances, 3km and 5km.

• Wheelchairs and strollers

  Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed during the run.

  Medical : Registered Nurse and Paramedic present, Physician present.
  Parking and Wheelchair: There is plenty of parking space in Expo City Dubai, Al Forsan parking

• EVENT WAIVER

  *Please Note
  All entrants will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of The Emirates NBD Unity Run 2024 in order to participate. Waivers must be agreed online to complete the registration process. There will be NO registrations on the run day. No refunds for participants who do not eventually take part in the run for whatever reason. Transfer of run entries to another party is STRICTLY prohibited.
