Hatta Wadi Hub has hosted some top races in UAE since the trails were opened in November 2014. Now Race 3 of the UAE National MTB Challenge Series is the next installment!
On a circuit not used before - 6.3km per lap of fast and loose descents, corners which come up very fast and climbs will need your balance and determination!
There will be no time to relax, especially as there will be an intermediate KOM prime part way round the course - first 3 riders in each category past the electronic checkpoint will gain extra 3, 2, & 1 series points on Lap 1 & 2!
Each category is back to individual racers age groups and the race is over 3 laps of the 6.3km loop.
The course as usual will be marked with red arrows and open an hour before race time. We are aiming to start 8am with each category going off mass start 1 minute apart to separate the groups.
Expect 45-90 minutes race time depending on ability. NOTE The race start is 10/15 minutes ride away from the main Hatta Wadi Hub parking so allow time. You can enter the course to practice on the way to the start.
You will need UAE Cycle Federation to enter MTB events for 2021/22 season. This can be bought at UAECF.ae or at the event. Just speak with one of the commissares at the race. Entries at the event are not possible so please make sure you register entry.
