The UAE National Road Cycling Championship, in its 3rd season, will again crown a National Champion in Emirati male and female and Expatriate male and female for the 2019 season. The four stage championship will also award champions in each age category in both male and female. The stages for this season are designed to create all the challenges of a grand tour with stages for climbers, time trialers and sprinters. To emulate the feel for riders of a grand tour, the leaders jerseys for the five major categories including a junior classification, will be awarded and worn of yellow, red, pink, blue and white taking the colours from the 3 grand tours as well as the Dubai Tour. These jerseys will be awarded to the leader after each stage, which will make a difference to the look and feel of the peloton. The stages will be held over three months so lock in 4th October (80 kms), 25th October (20 kms), 8th November (75 kms) & 22nd November (100 kms) for the final stage.
The event will also feature result categories for Social Emiratis (male): 15 - 18, 19 - 34, 35 - 49, 50+
