X3 Junior Triathlon is back on November 16, 2019 at Kite Beach.
With 7 different group categories for kids aged from 4 to 16 years old, the course is tailored to challenge participants in an exciting and safe environment. Check our categories section to know more about this year's distances.
Top 3 winners of each category will be named for girl’s and boy’s and will receive valuable prizes.
Let your kids eat what they usually eat, do not let them venture in trying out new food before the race day.
It is also advised not to drink milk before the race.
Athletes should have a healthy and fulfilling breakfast minimum 1 hour before the race.
Hydration is important, so make sure they bring their own reusable water bottle. Water will also be distributed at the event.
We have Velo Presto the Mobile Bike Mechanics available on site should there be any minor problem.
Running shoes are mandatory during the cycle and run. Directly after the swim, shoes and helmets will need to be worn before commencing the cycle.
All participants will need to push their bikes to the start of the cycle.
Parents are only allowed to assist the 4-5 year-old category and participate alongside them for the duration of the race.
Parents of all categories excluding 4-5 year old, are permitted to assist their children or enter any of the transition areas. Should they do so their child will automatically be disqualified.

Each child will have to follow their colors for their distances which will be clearly marked on the course.

Swimming cap – Compulsory to wear for the swim
Timing Chip – To be worn around the ankle and must be returned after the race.
Registration will be open from 7:00 AM. Please make sure to arrive a minimum of 1 hour before your starting time allowing you enough time to find a place to park the car, register, drop the bicycle, get ready and attend the briefing.
Don’t forget to bring the bicycle, helmet, running shoes and swimming costumes.
Please make sure you arrive to the registration desk 1 hour before your start time. This gives you enough time to park, check in your child, collect the race pack and be ready for the race.
