Torch Run – Night (Trail) Run
Saturday 27th January 2024 (full moon night) – after sunset 

With fading light the world looks different especially in the outdoors, colors are facing and turn into grey shapes only which brings a new challenge and excitement. Adding a dramatic environment like the mountains and an abandoned quarry promises to let you adrenaline pump.

We have set a course of approx. 5-6km at XQuarry in the beautiful Faya Mountains just 1hr drive from the cities of Dubai and Sharjah. The route will be on wide gravel tracks as well as short sections on single trail with climbs and drops and in some areas close to the cliffs (still far enough away to be safe). To help you navigate through the night we will put up fires as beacons along the way. It’s mandatory for each participant to bring a head torch or hand troch. We will have marshals along the way as well as beacon torches.

• What is the race schedule?

  Gates open 5:00pm, Race start 6:30pm – cut of time 8:15pm
  Be checked in at least 20 minutes before the start of your race. There is NO on-the-day registration.
  Price giving 8:30pm
  Venue closing 9:30pm

• Where do I go for the event?

• What are my options for parking?

  there is enough on site parking. the road to the park is a gravel road but a 4x4 is not required

• Are there bag drop facilities?

  No - you can keep your bag in the car. parking is next to the start line

• Will there be support stations? If yes, how many, where, providing what support?

  Two water stations on course. Medical staff and government authorities will be in attendance in athlete village and for the course if required

• Where can I find the results to the event?

  Manual timing only - no chip timing. Results will be shared online

• Is there a spectator area?

  Runners and registered spectators will be able to watch and support from the athlete village as attendees can see a lot of the course from our viewing area/s.

• Do I need to sign XQuarry Waiver

  Yes the xQuarry waiver is mandaotry and will be check at the entrance. you can sign the waiver online before the event to speed up the gate entry process at the race.
