“Overall very good. - I have participated in this event numerous times and again I really enjoyed it. However, after participating in it so many times I find the race shirt and medal a little boring. Maybe also you could add something extra to the race pack.”

“Nice run but the rout track was not clean - Event place was close which is good for me, a lot of parking was available near the start, sign boards that tells how much we run was awful, some of my friends didn't get the 10km medal they get the 5km instead :D no extra large shirt for me so they gave me the extra large for the 5km run instead”

“Bit expensive but amazing,start/finish at stadium! - Everything was just perfect expect for reaching the parking, the communication was to use the ice rink parking but it was impossible to reach there and had to make a whole round as there was no one indicating at the beginning where to go. Also funny it a bit expensive, but will do it again considering that all proceeds are for charity. Starting and finishing at the stadium is simply stunning! Well done!”

“Overpriced for a run thru parking lots - Pre-event/event activities are smooth. Course running thru parking lots is boring. Football stadium start/finish sounds great but it actually feels quite depressing inside the empty stadium, so the old course was better. I know you say the course distance is accurate and it measures long on GPS because it's not run shortest line, but all the top finishers confirm it's long. Shirt is same as always. Medal is a waste of money for 5K/10K. Event is way overpriced when no roads have to be closed.”

“Always good... - A well organized event that I always look forward to. Good on all counts, one minor issue with the last couple races, they changed the style of the t-shirt this year, even though its by the same company, the previous style was better fitting for most people.”

“Another great running event! - As always these runs are very well organized! The new course was awesome. Having it in the stadium is a great idea and makes for we nice atmosphere. Also, you pass your supporters in the middle of the race which is nice (if you are doing the 10k). Great value for the money, awesome pre-race communications - told you exactly where to come in and park. MC, marshals and volunteers were, as usual superb. See you again next season!”

“Timing chip and too race length - At the previous event, I bought a personal timing chip for myself and my wife and now they have switched to something else. Is that lost money or will we be able to use our personal chip again? Why is the course about 150 meters longer that the stated 5km? I understand it can't be exactly 5km per round but it seems quite a lot longer than exactly 5km.”

“Transport - Many of us come by taxi and would appreciate a taxi stop for after the race ”

“Stadium start and finish was great - Although i could have done without running through the stadium at the half way point - it's always tough to run past the finish line and start again. it's only a small criticism on what was otherwise a great run - the encouragement from volunteers on the water stations was particularly welcome”

“Great event as usual, preferred the old course - Great event, best photo service of any race in the UAE. 2 bits of room for improvement: I liked the old start at the tennis stadium better, especially with all the construction in and around the stadium. Also, please consider starting the 5k runners a little later... the 10K group hadn't really thinned out by the time a stampede of the fastest 5K-ers overtook us. Got an elbow to the shoulder, which was not fun. Volunteers were great as always!”

I participated in the 10k and was rewarded with a PB in 5k and 10k. However, I got a medal without the 10k sign as I understand it was out of stock. Looking forward for the pink run.”

“Overall a great day! - The race was well organised, great route, some of the marshals did an amazing job of motivating us as we ran past, their energy and enthusiasm was inspiring. I was very disappointed to be given the wrong medal, i'd just run 10k and wanted that recognised on my medal. When I noticed the mistake I tried to swap it to be told there had been a problem with the ordering/supplier so i'm left with a medal with no 10k plaque on it! I hope this can be resolved before the next race!”

“Great event with Great Vibes! - The signs of distance were not all provided as it was shown in the attached map Water volunteers would randomly splash with waters when it isn't the most appropriate time as we were carrying electronics that could be damaged. After event giveaways from Activebeats was complicated due to incompatible with some mobile software versions & such reasons. Clean roads, Happy smiles, enough water stations, Excellent time, great location, delicious complementary breakfast, the music could of been better ”

“Very good race and organizer - * I barley made it to the parkings (6:45- 6:50), left my phone in the car and went running to collect my bib and stuff could get it in no time for me +1. * The race started on time +1 * While running, I saw the 1KM sign and the 4KM sign!! I think they should have more signs if there only two. -1 * Results, photos and the medal been reported/ handed fast and a professional way. +1 * Rest area and breakfast was awesome +1 Good work and keep it up”

“Great event... medical assistance was lacking - Great event, new course was good!! Medical responders should've been visible at the start/finish area and no gazebo at the medical stand. Exhausted runners who needed assistance were sitting in the sun, one runner lying on the ground with only tissue paper under him! Otherwise, great course and wonderful atmosphere ”

“Great venue. Some cars on the route though - I loved the atmosphere and organization as well as the medal and tshirt. This was my first ever 10k run and happy his was the one I did it on. Although the route was marshaled well with great volunteers who were supportive, there were a few cars of early finishers on the road which was a bit of a hazard as some wouldn't even stop to let us pass first. I'd do it again though ”

“Better pre-race organization please! - Race pack collection was poorly organised and not in the box office as noted. Parking on arrival this morning was chaotic with clueless marshalls; you had to drive between the cones to get to the stadium car park. I'd prefer a running vest rather than a t-shirt but that's a personal note. Enjoyed the run despite the above! ”

“Excellent and fun. I intend to do 4 more races. - I absolutely loved the marshals spirits. It was uplifting and motivating. I liked the new route. It is a good change. Keep it like this. I rated the giveaways low because I really want another Abu Dhabi striders cap (Tennis hat). I got one during the very first race that I did, it is yellow with purple writing. I will also buy one if you can let me know where. But I must say, that was the best give away ,) I love the shirt, I am jealous of the 5km blue one. Please make the next 10km one blue.”

“Great race that is now even better! - I ran this race earlier in the year and really enjoyed it. That being said - congratulations and thanks to the event coordinators for vastly improving this race. The availability of the stadium to marshall, start, finish, and recover after the race not only created a great atmosphere but it was very functional. Further, it "freed up" on-site parking and allowed for easy-departure from the event. New course wasn't fast but a nice course. Well organized, decent shirt and medal. Must run!”
