“Great Race - Great atmosphere, organisation and people. Bike course is a little monotonous, but safe and bike friendly. Run around the grounds was 50 shaded which helps and the swim is perfect in the lagoon. Only slight minus on the photography service was that they missed me on the finish.”

“A great morning out - This is the third time I have taken part in this race and again I really enjoyed it. The organization is pretty slick and I think that's also helped by a lot of participants having done the last two races and also being familiar. Marshals and volunteers always do a great job. I always enjoy the breakfast the most although I didn't like being fobbed off by the hotel staff when I asked for soya milk (which I don't think is unreasonable and when I know they have it in the hotel). ”

“Expensive but a good event at a fantastic location - The roundabout on the cycle leg was an accident waiting to happen. The only marshal did a fantastic job trying to control cyclists and traffic but it was impossible for her to be effective on her own. Where the run course joined the cycle course was too tight. Liked the bags all set out in transition - saves registering and fighting for a good spot. Great breakfast tho expensive for guests. Pity you don't get a t-shirt like you do in the Abu Dhabi events! Big thank you to all the volunteers.”

“Room for improvement - Suggestions: 1. get better speakers for both the pre-race brief and awards ceremony. We could bar hear the pre-race brief even though we were close and also could not hear the awards announcements sitting at the back. 2. It was fricking scary how fast some of the cars were traveling up and down the road right next to the bikers - completely unacceptable. Before allowing traffic to come down the road, drivers should be warned to keep their speed below 40. A Rolls Royce went by doing 80-100 km”
