“Track was not safe as per COVID situation and government patrol. Distance was not 10 km and at the last circle some of us completed whole round and some enter direct to the finishing line same as 5km but results were prepared for all no one disqualify because of uncomplicated 2nd round”

“Overall it was nice Race with beautiful location. However, there were some flaws as below; 1. The Route was not matching with the one shown and provided along with the registrations. 2. The route was marshalled well except in the 2 nd loop just before the finish line and hence most of the runners felt short of almost 1.8 km for 5k and 3.9 to 4.1 km for the 10k. The 1st Loop of 10 k was perfect and the 2nd loop should have followed the 1st loop but it didn't happen as marshals didn't guided well”

“The course was not at the full length stated which is really frustrating as it is so easy to resolve. The course at the end was difficult to understand due to confusion with what the Marshalls were telling us. On the second lap for the 10km runners were they meant to do the extra bit before entering into finish. This was so easy to avoid and should have been an obvious place where mistakes could happen. I was also told to go straight by a marshal instead of right. Car was parked in front of the ”

“We had a bad experience at ADSC Run 2022. My son Isaac Singh Bib No.: 3084 was given wrong directions on the route by the Marshalls. He ran 5 K instead of 3 K. His results are now not showing on the board. We are very upset and want to talk to somebody in charge there. Please call us on 0504927074.”

“Thank you for an interesting race. The course was brilliant especially on the greens however dangerous on the cycling and walking paths. Insha'Allah it takes place at the same venue, please ensure that the start of the 5/10km. I witnessed a nasty collision between a 10km back marker and 5km fast runner. I was disappointed with the prize awards and believe it should be reviewed. If there are no prize rewards for top 3 finishers then a top 3 finisher should claim category prize. ”

“My race was supposed to start at 7:50. When I arrived at 7:45, all the runners were out !!! It would be great to stick to the time schedule. Also, awards were given for the first place only which is very unusual since awards are typically given for the first three places”

I saw a woman knocked down hard on the ground by a fast 5K runner trying to pass us 10K runners- very bad!! Very crowded start, narrow track for the first one km, soft soil ground portions, no additional medals for podium winners, late announced results, delayed medal ceremony. overall terrible organization. ”

“The side walk and cycling track were very narrow for a marathon run, there were not enough signs for the different marathons 3K, 5K, 10K directions and we had to ask the people standing at the points while running. I’ve done ADNOC marathon twice and they have better signs for the different routes. On the way in and out of the Yas Links (walking) there were wires poorly installed by the organizers for something there and it was a big tripping hazard. Thank you ”

“It was a very challenging route running in a golf course on grass/sand and uphill/downhill. Well there is some little things to correct like the incoming/outgoing runner in one lane but I put 10 for the rating. More running events in Abu Dhabi please.”

“It was very well-organized. My only suggestion is that there should be more marshals along the course as it got confusing with the cones. It would be best next time to have split timing machines halfway during the course so runners can gauge how fast to run. Thanks for the event and please organize another run this month or in February. ”

“I loved the venue on the links. The ups and downs over the dunes took me by surprise [some sharp corners running downhill[ but it was fun. One thing that would have helped was kilometre markers. I think we had a timer that bleeped at the 10K half way point but even that was unmarked.”
