Al Barsha South Run
“Parent involvement in the 1k run of 6-8 years category influenced the results of the Competition. Parent was allowed to run with his son from start to finish influencing pace of runner which wasn't right for a Competition as it wasn't a family event or a fun run. ”
“Track used for skating was bad. No clear instructions given to participants about route. Finish line was very inappropriate for skating event as kids come at really high speeds at finish. No appreciation and encouragement for participation (participation certificates or medals ) as per the price charged which was much higher compared to other events.”
“All though it was a good initiative, the event was not very well organized. We had registered my 9year old for the 3K skating race. Reporting time given was 5.30am, however, once we got there we were told that the registration for skating would only take place at 7am, resulting in us having to wait for more than an hour. Actual race took place past 9am, on interlocked tiles making the skating difficult. The track layout was also not proper with kids getting confused as to where to go.”
“No schedule, we came at 5:30 with kid and found that skaters start at 7 ?♂️ They started 7:30 with kids doing some extra laps due to incorrect marks. At the finish line we had to ask for finisher medal.”
“They had children to skate on the tiles..which is not at all good. Poorly conducted. They were rude..I will never send my child to Dunes.”
