EMARAT Hatta Hills Run 2022: 21.1km,10km,5km
“Good organisation, very good buffet. One thing missing is a offroad variant. Only 21km distance had some off the road part.”
“It was a great event . From the start to the end. ”
“Was good however, too confusing about the route and the helpers routed us wrongly. Needs clearer and better trained helpers”
“I absolutely loved it, great race! ”
“My first race and I loved it. Beautiful setting and well organised!”
“Scenic, challenging, fun, fun and more fun.”
“It was a memorable experience. Well organised and very friendly organisers”
“Very well organised. The many water point were a bonus.”
“Good environment, well organize. Unfortunately not many photographers like before. ”
“Well organized. This was my one of most memorial run. Thank you orginazier ”
“all good nothing to say more”
“The route for 10km was confusing as it overlaps from the same roundabout again”
“Loved running through the village into the mountains. Well organised by all and police did a great job with the roads ”
“Loved the location. The organisation was excellent.”
“Well managed organizer and amazing team work. I much appreciate it. Apart from that, the location was perfectly perfect!”
“Another fantastically organised event. I look forward to this run every year.”
“Well organized, beautiful route and a highly enjoyable experience.”
“It was pretty well organised. But there were a few parts of the race that were dangerous and unsafe. ”
“Many 21k runners were wrongly directed by responsible people on track. At around 5-6 km turn, two people working for the organization lead mant 21k runners to s wrong circuit, despite we have many times told them that they are worng, they said we were wrong. Staff on the road, as the organization itself failed big time. ”
“I loved it, the venue was great, the route was good and the Marshall along the route where incredibly friendly. Thank you to all”
“Only the cars, traffic at one point was a little annoying ( the diesel trucks) ”
“The event was nice, scenic route and finishing area / race village was really good with coffee etc. Some marshaling issues to enhance the event in future. Maybe with a simpler course easy to follow with less laps and turns. Great to have sponsors as Emarat giving some nice awards.”
“The challenge on the top of the hills is fine.”
“For next time, a bit more difference from race to race will help not to be given wrong directions. Some people were wrongly indicated, which I think was a huge error. I couldn’t enjoy the entire race track. ”
“It was such a great experience! My first run in Dubai outside of the Dubai run last month on Sheikh Zayed road and I thought this was very well organized and executed. All the staff cheering on you throughout the run, was amazing, will definetely be back, thank you! ”
“Was a little hot so maybe better for a slightly earlier start But excellently organised and a wonderful run ”
“Brilliantly organised - well done.”
“Excellent preparation given that organizers are also just coming out of Covid protocols. I have taken part in similar trial runs and good point would be give the bib and t-shirt before run so people can wear Making it more unique, also use 'different colors bib' for different runs so easy to categorize even for field marshal !! Overall great job and I am really fortunate to get to run kudos ??????”
“Amazing experience, very well organised. ”
“Thanks for organising the amazing run in Hatta. I have a few comments: -no portable toilets along the course -there was water on the bridge and this road was slippery -It would be nice to collect the shirt before the run and wear it during the race ”
“Medics should be stationed along the way specially on top of the kayak area. Shirt should be given ahead and should be wear during the race. Wash room should be available even halfway of the route”
“Fantastic organisation - brilliantly executed - the marshals and the police were truly wonderful ??”
“This was a total disaster according to me as the race marshalls up top we’re misguiding people onto the wrong path. About 50 odd 21k folks were turned to the wrong path cutting short their race to only 10k instead of 21k. When I realised that I’ve been directed wrongly way, I tried asking Marshalls down if they can point me back in the right direction and nobody was able to help. Why station an inexperienced Marshall at such a crucial juncture? I don’t understand.”
“Unfortunately a race Marshaller sent all the front runners the wrong way ruining the race. Better signage would have prevented it. The run itself was amazing, and I will do it again next year!”
