“Great event, wonderful venue and 5* organisation - This was my first "swim only" event. The venue is great, easy parking and very convenient to locate registration booth, bag drop and starting pen. Although the 1 mile course was changed at the morning of the event (assuming due to currents / safety), the new course (2 laps) was still fun and the MC explained the turning points many times in great detail. The point is a great venue, water was great and many places to enjoy coffee & breakfast afterwards. Overall a great event for every level.”

“Very disappointed. - The one-mile course could have been much nicer! Doing two small circles is so boring. At registration it was not announced that we'd have to come out of the water after the first round and then run back in again. The race pack was poor, and in bag deposit they wouldn't accept a separate bag with my cloth (which wouldn't fit in the race bag). The photos are the worst that I've ever seen in an event like this. The event could have been so much better, The Pointe is a beautiful venue! ”

“Good event, could be better - Great location to have a swim but could have been better organised. Route changed on the day. No arm band for bag drop on my bag. No showers for afterwards. And biggest issue, no results published.”

“Good event, let down a bit by the comms - Event itself was fine. Pre-event comms weren't great, there were 3 different sets of start timings published depending on whether you looked at the website, email or info pack. Never received a start number which apparently I should have. The course was changed on the day, not clear why. And disappointing that 24 hours after the event there are still no published results. With chips results are normally up within minutes. ”
