“The event was organised very well and there was a good vibe all around. The only thing I didn’t really like was the 5k loop - would have preferred the narrow bike track instead of the road but the hills were nice.”

“Parking too far away to take the T Shirt back. Needed an additional earlier water point for the Half Marathon. Other than that well organised. Nice to have enough toilets at the start, it was more difficult on the course though, 10-15km in a bathroom would have been useful. Lots of people taking breaks in the street”

“The T-shirt pick up was supposed to be after the race..instead it got changed to before and there was no bag drop.. the car park was a fair distance away and so everybody had to either wear the T-short on top of their existing T-shirt or walk all the way back to leave it in the car..”

“The organization overall was very good, maybe some minor things due to the new location but nothing major. I participated in the 10k race which was unfortunately more around Mushrif Park than in Mushrif Park. I think the park has much nicer possibilities to offer than running mainly straight on the cycle track on the outer fence. Years ago, there was the beautiful run that really went through the park - running straight on tarred roads you can have everywhere around Dubai.”

“Very well organized. Plenty of eatables post the race. Washrooms were easy to find and clean. Great team of support staff who knew where everything was and helpful. We were given race t shirts before the race ,but i was already wearing one, had to run with this one i my pocket. Thsnkfully it was a compact one, but still inconvenient. There could be an option to give the tshirt after the race as well. ”

Only notes are that there was not quite enough parking for all of the entrants, and signage from the car park to the start could have been better. The merging of the 21K and 10K at some point became very chaotic, I was doing the 21K so ended up having to leave in and out of traffic which wasn't ideal. ”

My only gripe was the pacer teams and some runners playing out loud music from speakers on the run- I chose this race to run in as close to nature as you can get in Dubai- and don’t want to listen to music pumping out from speakers. If you want music- put some headphones in. Luckily Iw sent fast enough to keep up with the pacers so lost the music about 5k in. ”
