“Very good event overall and will do it again. Good organization, course support and nutrition were great. Appreciated the flat coke on the run course. Only 2 issues: one roundabout on the bike course was not well protected and traffic entered it. It was resolved after one lap. Also, the bike course was short by 2.5km per loop (5km for 76, 7.5km for 113). ”

“I visited this venue serval times in past and was quite excited about the new distances, 113 and 76. The organiser didn't disappoint this time either. The event was well organised, with clear markings, many marshals to provide directions, and sufficient water and nutrition on the cycling and run course. In the future, if they could close the traffic at the roundabout where we had to do a U-turn, it would be great. One of the best triathlon venues and events in UAE. ”

“I raced the 76 as part of a relay team. A fantastic offering for a new race distance, and one I will sign up for to race solo. A brilliant concept...so well done to you for bringing this front and centre. As much as you guys tried to have all circumstances accounted for, there was the issue of traffic entering junctions - of which I was nearly cleaned up by a large truck...literally less than 60cm from going under the front of it. Managed to get moving only to be nearly t-boned by a car. ”

“Really enjoyed the Event, but, was almost knocked off my bike in the section close to town (the Roundabout U-Turn Up Hill) and heard of other people that got hit on the bike and the run. Also the Bike course was almost 10% short, Many of the Volunteers were with on their phones or talking into cars when out on course, and although I appreciate they volunteer Safety should not be jeopardized.”

“for a 1st event on these distances, it s a great achievement!! you might think of doing it in Mamzar too ;-) One detail; on the road outside the island, several cars were on the cycling track, especially during the 1st lap. Well done overall !!!!”
