“A very well run event with friendly organisers. However unfortunately for me I feel the course set out on the bike could have been better and as a result I had quite a nasty accident. If turning point is in a line on the road which is not normally taken then it should really be check and cleaned from debris or the hazard clearly marked. I know falls are to be expected as part of the sport but I feel this accident was avoidable. However no hard feelings and hopefully the organisers will take note”

I planned for my hydration according to the previous years' experience. I left one bottle cage empty to grab a full bottle on the way but... nothing. The crew was standing behind the table way off the track and after the second lap started offering water bottles without unsealing the cap!! Those bottles of course wouldn't fit in any bottle cage... #useless.”

“Wonderful event, well managed! I gave it a 9 instead of 10 because the map indicated there would be a water stop with bottles to swap out on the bike at the 32km mark, but there wasn't a stop there.”

“Fabulous event- well run- great staff- fruendly-very helpful bike shop to help me w a rented bike as i came from the states. Also i was able to rent a wetsuit at the last min which was also an amazing last minute advantage. - i loved how frequent the water stations were and that u gave out water bottles instead of small cups of water-which helped keep me hydrated and continue going as we dumped it on ourselves during the hot weather! Loved how much room we were given on the bike course to ride.”
