Ras Al Khaimah MINI Marathon 2019
“Creative and fun, can build on this. - It was creative and lots of fun. Loved the idea of daughter-dad and mum-son combo. What a way to bring family dimensions into it and potentially a great advert for RAK as family break destination. Anchor was great. Could have kept more kids reated goodies. May be you also missed on ‘mini marathon’ merchandise which is a great way to recall and advertise for next year. ”
“very very interesting, good, keep it up, congrat. - From parking area by walk we reached the starting point. very very horrible. Marshaling in the parking area are not given proper guidance to reach the Starting point. pls. avoid such things in the next race. ”
“Great way to get kids participating in the event - We really enjoyed the event and it was a great way for our son to participate rather than just spectate. I did feel it was held a little too late in the day for the children though, with the temperatures beginning to rise. The staff in the medical station seemed to feel the same way as my son was brought in to cool down. Prizes for second and third place would also be a nice improvement for next year. ”
“Great addition to the RAK weekend - This was a great addition to the RAK Half Marathon weekend. My one suggestion is to allow more than one son/daughter to run in the same event. For example, we have two boys but the registration only allowed the mom and one son. It would've been ideal for us to be able to register both of our boys.”
“Well organised, family event had great day. - Very well organised, energetic atmosphere, each and every crew members supported event I will recommend to all my friends and families. Excellent photo service. great day for family. Best wishes for future events.”
“Good way to race to our kids - Everything was nearly perfect. But what a huge disappointment about the awards. The only race that awarded only the first place while the kids expected podium for the first 3! What was the reason for that???”
“good event - But check the time is good for children because it at 12pm”
