“Well organised event, great atmosphere. Only recommendation - to have someone at midpoint (for 10k race) to guide runners. ”

“This was a great experience! A few points to make it even better next year - a marshall should be stationed at the half way point of the 10k - lots of people ran too far. Need a few more marshalls and time check points generally - too many people cutting corners in a major way! Not sure why I got a triathlon t-shirt afterwards. Were there no RAK trail run ones ?? ”

“Good course, well organised. It would have been great to have some covid friendly food (bananas or bars or something) at one of the water stations mid 21k. Crazy that the event ambulance had no antiseptic!”

“No marshals at the stands where it was really needed. It was not clear when the u turn for the 10 k was and nobody to ask. There was also no marked km. At every kilometre in any other runs it is always marked out. The only good thing was the music and vibe and medal and orange juice.”

NEGATIVE: Didnt like so much the lack of effort of (few) runners to respect the rules and the environment!! it was quite easy for some runners to do shortcuts without being controlled Also Runners who throw garbage along the track should be disqualified!! ”

“Great location. Enjoyed the run, however: The half-marathon itinerary could have been better: running in circles in the same spot twice is really not necessary in the vastness of the Jabel Jais area. I understand it's easier to organize, but that makes the event less attractive. Also, there were very few chip time measuring stations, and I saw multiple people running shortcuts. The pictures are nice but unfortunately very low definition. It would be great to get the high-def copies!!! ”
