“The track was not properly signaled . Many confusing turns ending up in missing exits or exiting earlier”

“Overall a good experience, but needs improvement. Swim was messy, needed better dividing lines. Police stopped the race to let cars pass, which was super strange, better layout and coordination with hotels required. ”

“Indication on the race was not the best… especially on transition out of cycling The swimming was crowded as well”

“A 5 minute traffic stop in the middle of the race on the bike was pretty bad. It just had a general air of not much effort being put in, to transition, security, sign posts etc. No bike lap times. Only water after the race, maybe we are getting spoiled at other races, but just a banana goes a long way. Love that the kids get to do the triathlon, but it's also super dangerous both for them and others that they are on the same course, had to come to a near stop multiple times to avoid collisions ”

“Great event as always, but few things to improve. Transition - appreciate the reason for the route, but would be good to have a bit more room between the line of racks. Also why didn't the emails mention that the bags would be on the racks? Course - again appreciate why it is so condensed, but get a bit dizzy with 7 laps, and having the police stop us was disappointing - fear that this area may be off limits for future events. Thanks again for organising, great way to remember Roy.”

“Nice setting :-) Transition was a bit too long - to loop Supersprint swim distance was longer than 400m Many people made a mistake with the run on supersprint and carried on - just needs a clear sign at the end. Otherwise a very enjoyable triathlon :-) Thanks”

“The running track was confusing with no turning cones at the water stations.”

“Having the kids on the same bike course as the adults is dangerous”

“Great event, very well organised! Good vibes all round to remember the great man. 2 little things to make it even better next time: - We know when sunrise is, UAE authorities don't let us start before then, so there is no point having a 6.30 start time if sunrise is 6.52! - Paper cups in the water stations not polystyrene!”

“Nice location, organizers did a good job. Swim course was chaotic tho. Too many different swim speeds and tight”

“The swim course was narrow at the turning point and the left boundary is a rope with lots of barnacles. I had a small scratch but I've worse in some competitors. Other than that, great race overall.”

“Great venue, super course and more than adequately marshalled. I love the inclusivity of all ages but it did get a little bit hairy with the younger participants on the bike course. Not sure how you could address this, given the constraints of the venue- a specific pre race briefing for junior athletes making sure they know to keep right? Adult riders are also responsible for the safety of the youngsters so they need to be made. aware of their responsibilities - again noted at the briefing.”

“The event was very good but the parking was a long way from transition and it made the pre race preparations too short for me.”

“Really enjoyed the vibe, the place, the route - only issue was it wasn’t always clear & helpers did not really have the information. The run start was not clear & the sea swim became a bit chaotic . But enjoyed it & organisation was fab! ”

“The police stopped the race which was mindblowing... i understand this was out of the organization last control but they should have communicated post the race and offered a solution to correct for racing time and ranking as some people got negatively affected”

“Lots of great stuff but the run course needed more Marshall as people got lost. Transition bike in was not sign posted so people went past. No overall medal places for most categories. ”

“What truly set this event apart was the sense of community and purpose behind it. Being a memorial triathlon, it was inspiring to see how it honored Roy Nasr. It added a layer of significance that motivated everyone to give their best. Crossing the finish line for the first time was a moment I’ll never forget. Whether you’re an experienced triathlete or a first-timer like me, this event offers something for everyone. ”
