Sharjah Ladies Run 2019
“Signage was wrong - It was quite off putting as the distances were not accurate and the course was longer than 10k. Therefore my timing was slower which was disappointing. ”
“Great fun! - I came here with friends and we all had a great experience - the atmosphere was really positive. I suspect the 10k race might actually have been a little longer than 10k but that's not a massive problem, I was just disappointed that my time was so much slower than the last race I completed (only 3 weeks ago!) The route itself was very well signposted and the marshalls were fab, but the road signs on the way to the event were few and far between making it hard to find, coming by taxi as we did.”
“Superp! - Really enjoyed the event, well organized and an amazing atmosphere. ”
“A good colourful event but results need updating! - A good, friendly and fun event that gets lots of ladies involved in a safe and supportive environment. Although better signage/directions are needed and a drop off area for taxis to pull up in would be good. The results need updating as it says I finished 13th in the 5K but I actually finished 7th. There are 6 Emirati runners in the top 12 ahead of me but the Emirati prize money for 1st, 2nd and 3rd went to runners who finished after me. Please remove the disqualified runners from the results. ”
“Always a fun event! - More assistance with quickest way to get to race once in University City. No music after 2.5 km for 10km runners. Possibly weather affected numbers but seems there were fewer participants in 2019. ”
“Great event - Was soooooo fun and goood ”
“Good fun - Love the atmosphere at this event -seeing all the girls having such a good time is fantastic! One quibble - is it just me or was the 10k longer than last time? I'm sure we didn't go around the last roundabout before, but took a U turn before it. I stopped my app at 10k, which was well before the finish line...”
“Deeda.dxb - It was so fun ”
“Lots of fun - Better parking organization than last year, well done. Could use more food options, would be helpful if there was a dress code involved instead of people showing up in non athletic wear”
