“Nice run, giveaways could be improved or not given - The event was nice, the route was pretty easy and signage was good. The monorail wasn't really necessary despite being warned we would be denied access in a car The t shirt was quite good but the rest of the goodie bag was just discount vouchers which you would need to spend an awful lot of money to utilise. The race was good but one guy named Barry was spitting every 30 seconds which was so off-putting and inconsiderate, but did inspire me to run faster to escape the disgusting sounds.”

“Definitely one of the best organized running event - Really had a great time running this event. The monorail trip with a great view of The Palm Jumeirah was an added treat! Not to mention the great view of the water, the Burj Al Arab and the Dubai Marina Skyline along the course. A great event indeed. Super-impressed with the speedy results posting on line. If only the results were available at the finish line, I could have known that I placed third in my age group and had waited for the awarding. As I had a flight to catch, I decided to leave.”

“Great event for the whole family! - This is a great event for the whole family to come down and do. With 1km/3km/5km and 10km options there really is something for everyone. I did it together with my friends and its a good mix of people doing it for fun vs. getting a personal best! ”

“Wonderful views but bag collection problematic - It took me 2 goes to collect the race bag - on my first try I tried to call the office but it was closed and although there was a message saying to call one for the organizer's mobiles no number was given for the mobile! I only found the collection point as another participant was also lost and we found it together! I know the construction hindered collection - maybe collection on race day would be better! I found the organisers very helpful and very sympathetic to my plight!”

“Good organization - Kindly organize the registration process at 2 places in the city so that we don't have to travel to the remote corner of the place for the process. ”

“Nice morning run - Enjoyed the run, well organized and not too busy during the run. Km markers were set out wrongly but other than that a good event. Would be nice to maybe see paper water cups at the water stations, bit more effort than plastic but much more environmentally friendly. ”

“Great event, really enjoyed it - I thought almost everything about the event was really good and well organised, transport in particular to a difficult location was a high point, very easy and convenient. Communication has been great up to the event. The only drawback for me is that I left as soon as the event was over and I was hoping to be able find the results on line. So far, six hours later I can’t find any results or even any indication of where or when they will be posted. Not the end of the world but disappointing a bit”

“Not so satisfied - Organizers are rude when approaching runners. Goody Bag doesn’t have anything except for the t-shirt and bib number. Refreshment just water. Medal is too cheap given that registration is expensive. ”
