“A great location and well-marked, lots of friendly marshals and a nice vibe in general, but no advice. No safety briefing in English, not clear that there will be no water during the run, about the requirement to carry your own, etc. No advice on the shoes. Saw some runners in regular sneakers who were holding for the dear life. The run advertised as 10K turned out to be 7.5K. And yes, next week's run is around 5K. ”

“Instead of starting at 6 - 6:30 am, the hike started at 8 am. it was already sunny. The guides were not helpful. No water bottles on the way or at the top. People who were under the sun hiking at 11 am, already finished their own bottles and when asked, the guides did not bother to call for more. I have done this hike few times before with Wolfpack adventures for free and never faced these struggles. Here we paid 113 AED and it was flawed in many ways.”

“I love the event. However, it is advertised for 10km when it was in fact only 7.5km. I don't understand why the real distance is less than the one advertised. It is too short to be a challenge. And the one next week is advertised at 7km. Does that mean it will be 5km? I don't drive for 2hours to run for 5km. Otherwise I really love the spirit and the organisation is great”
